Prepare for university in Germany: your study programme, language requirements, documents and visa guides.
Choose a study programme
Check the programme language, admission requirements, application deadline and required documents on the university’s official website. Do not assume one university’s requirements apply to every programme.

Organise your documents
Gather your passport, education documents, grades and any language certificates. Check translation and certification requirements with the receiving institution. Admission and visa decisions are made by the university and competent authorities.
